Lake Junaluska Assembly, Inc. authorizes the Junaluska Assembly Community Council (JACC) as an advisory council for Assembly Public Works. Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, except July and December, at 4 pm. JACC meetings are in-person and a hybrid meeting format including a virtual option will continue indefinitely. The Junaluska Assembly Community Council Constitution and Bylaws establish the principles and rules by which the Council operates and also outlines the duties and authority of the Council.
The Lake Junaluska community is divided into five geographical districts of similar size and population. A representative is elected from each of the five districts, plus two at-large members elected by the community as a whole. The seven Council members serve two-year terms without compensation.
