Lake Junaluska Assembly Property Owners Organization, Inc.

(LJAPOO, Inc.)

The Lake Junaluska Assembly Property Owners Organization, Inc. (LJAPOO, Inc.) is an independent 501(c)(4) non profit, membership group of Assembly property owners who come together to:

1. Address the needs and concerns of Assembly property owners and residents.

2. Be a source of information and advocacy for property owners and residents of the Assembly

3. Work with the Lake Junaluska Assembly for the benefit of both the Assembly, as a mission of the United Methodist Church, and the residential community

LJAPOO, Inc. is governed by an elected Board and holds four Board meetings and two full membership meetings each year. The full membership meetings are open to the public to provide a forum for property owners and community input. LJAPOO, Inc. provides financial assistance/support to projects that benefit the entire Assembly community. Examples include contributions to the Assembly staff Christmas party and projects for preserving and maintaining the lake and the lake walking trail.

The Organization also coordinates a heating oil cartel and propane gas co-op providing discount heating oil and propane to LJAPOO, Inc. members.

The Lake Junaluska Assembly Property Owners Organization, Inc. has two public meetings a year to provide a forum for property owners and community input. All property owners within the community are invited to join and become involved!
