The Junaluskans

The mission of Lake Junaluska is to be a place of Christian hospitality where lives are transformed through the renewal of soul, mind, and body. The Junaluskans, a volunteer and social organization of Lake Junaluska Assembly, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. It is committed to carrying out the mission of the Lake by providing monthly activities for personal enjoyment, fellowship, education, and spiritual enrichment. Everyone who lives at Lake Junaluska or in the larger community is invited to become part of the Junaluskans. Dues are of $10 per person per year. You do not have to live at the lake or own property at the Lake to be a member. The Junaluskans provide numerous opportunities for volunteer and social activities for its members.
The Junaluskans meet the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. These meetings are an opportunity to meet other Junaluskans and learn of a variety of activities/programs sponsored by the Junaluskans. A monthly newsletter, Lake Views and News, is distributed at the meeting and is also available online. Another source of communication is the Junaluskans email service, faithfully managed and maintained by Junaluskans volunteer Frank Stith, which goes to all those who provide their email address. Junaluskans members are also listed in the Junaluskans directory.
The Junaluskan sponsors spiritual activities as Vespers and hymn sings. It sponsors social events like fellowship groups, jam sessions, musical events and dances. There are quarterly fellowship lunches/dinners. Some are potlucks, other are served at Lambuth Inn. Finally an annual flea market, game days, college scholarships and Summer Evenings at the Lake are also Junaluskans activities. We invite you to join Junaluskans to make friends and participate in community events.
